Laya Tarang Lite: Practice Layakari with Tabla Tekas
Laya Tarang Lite is a demo version of the Laya Tarang app, designed for learners of Hindustani music and dance. It focuses on the practice of layakari, which involves playing polyrhythmic patterns on the tabla. This app allows users to play tabla tekas in different layakaris, sharpening their skills in layakari.
In the Lite version, there are some feature restrictions. Only Tintal, one of the 15 basic tabla taals available in the full version, is accessible. Users can choose from limited options of beats per minute, ranging from 30 to 120bpm. Additionally, only three sidhi layakaris (dugun, tigun, and chaugun) are available. The Lite version is ad-supported and does not receive updates.
Laya Tarang Lite is developed by SiddhiSadhana, the creators of other music-related apps such as LehraBox, LehraBoxComposer, LayaTarang, ShruthiLaya, and TihaiShastra. It serves as a testing platform for users to familiarize themselves with the app before deciding to purchase the full version.
